DEVI Concrete Hardening

Warm Tiled Floors DEVI takes the edge of problems in winter concrete pouring

A uniform concrete result is often considered a problem during the winter. – But it need not necessarily be so…

DEVI systems can be used to maintain a normal concrete hardening process during winter where temperatures often fall below the freezing point but when it is important that building activities are not delayed due to the weather conditions. The problems are solved by attaching deviflex™ heating cables to the reinforcement net directly in the concrete construction. If the temperature is -10ºC or above it is normally not necessary to protect the concrete construction further, but if the temperature falls below -10ºC it is recommended to sheet the construction over. Depending on the outdoor temperature the system can be maintained at approx. +1 to +2ºC for a week. Then, it is possible to reduce the effect gradually.

Product choice
We recommend deviflex™ DSIG (400V) or DTIP (230 V) heating cables, controlled by a devireg™ 330 (-10° - +10°).
