DEVI Frost Protection Drains

In connection with ramps, inclines or low terrain driveways it is common to install a drain system to drain surface and ground water.
Most of the year the system works perfectly, but in the winter under conditions with changing temperatures around the freezing point can cause freezing of the drain systems. And the ice formations are often substantial. During periods with thaw, the drain system cannot always thaw completely and then be able to drain the water away before the frost sets in again, resulting in problems with the melt water. These problems can be avoided by installing Deviflex™ heating cables in drain pipes and gratings, etc.

We recommend Deviflex™ electrical heating cables type DTIP-18 or DSIG-20 controlled by a electronic Devireg™ 316, 330 or 610 thermostat which ensures that heat is only switched on when needed.
